What’s So Extreme about Graphene?

There’s a lot of talk about a newer material on the market called Graphene, which was discovered only about 20 years ago by the University of Manchester. Graphene is a honeycomb structure and is one of the hardest materials on the planet, even harder than diamonds. In the carwash industry, graphene, which is integrated into the ceramic formula, creates an ideal layer of protection for vehicles. The result? An overall improvement of the efficacy of the wash. Graphene’s properties allow for better water beading; due to its flexibility, it more effectively protects paint against chipping and cracking; the anti-static element acts as a dust repellent, allowing the shine to last longer; the slick protective covering makes for easier cleaning, with less time and effort to create that shine we all desire.
